Channing was one of the very best. Thank you for keeping his magic alive. It's interesting to see how glamorous it all was back then, late '50s in Paris, his tuxedo, her evening gloves... I'm so grateful to have had the chance to meet Channing and visit with him when he lived here in Las Vegas. He was a deeply spiritual man and one of the greatest magicians of the 20th century. May his memory live on!
Channing was one of my magical heroes and a great man - a gentleman all around. The world needs more people like him.
He personified the romantic version of the classical magician and that is what largely inspired my cabaret/parlor act. I feel greatly privileged to have known and learned from him.
